Inc.. We are a nonprofit corporation
dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Spotted Ass (also known as a donkey or burro) and the Half-Ass (which is a mule
or hinny). There are currently less than 2500 registered Spotted Asses and HalfAsses so we really are dealing with a "rare breed."
The American Donkey and Mule Society maintains informative websites for those interested in the longeared equines - the cousins of the more well known horse. From Miniature to Mammoth, Mule to Zorse, we have facts, photos, a catalog of literature, resources, and MUCH more.
The aim of this web site is to give you an insight into the workings of the British Mule Society, its activities and to its members, but more importantly their mules – that wonderful intelligent creature that joins us all together.
The Canadian Donkey & Mule Association is a not-for-profit organization established to preserve, protect, and promote donkeys and mules in Canada.
Founded in 1976, the CDMA is the only organization sanctioned under the Animal Pedigree Act to operate the Registry for donkeys and mules in Canada.
The Poitou Donkey (Baudet du Poitou), while arguably the most recognizable donkey in the world, is the least known and most endangered.
